Individual Counselling

Book an individual counselling session

- Available in-person or online

- Start to explore your story, unpack challenges,identify patterns and build clarity   

- Develop a map of tools and techniques to support your goals 

- Sessions are available in 60 or 90-minute appointments.

Mindfulness Counselling 

Book a mindfulness counselling session.

- Available in-person or virtual setting

- Begin with grounding techniques including slow movements around breath and relaxation

- Using talk therapy we will start to explore your story, build clarity and identify patterns 

- Closing the session with grounding technique and gentle body movements to support healing.

- Sessions are 90 minutes in length

What to Expect 

 Step 1: 

Let's Meet

Our first few sessions focus on getting to know you and understanding your story. At your pace, we’ll explore your lived experiences and how they may be impacting your overall wellbeing.

 Step 2:

Build Connection

A strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of healing. I will meet your experiences with care, curiosity, and compassion. We will move at a pace that supports trust, connection, and a sense of safety as our work together unfolds.

 Step 3: 

Recognizing Patterns

Many emotional and behavioural patterns develop as intelligent responses to life experiences. These patterns once served an important purpose, even if they no longer feel helpful today. Together, we’ll explore small, intentional shifts that support healing and holistic wellbeing.

 Step 4: 

See Results

Healing often unfolds gradually. Over time, you may notice subtle changes in how you relate to yourself and others. Through increased awareness, along with practical tools and techniques, we focus on building capacity, resilience, and a deeper sense of presence and connection to the world around you.

Policies

Payment Policy 

A payment method is required in advance for all sessions. Fees will be processed via the credit card securely kept on file after each session. Alternatively, clients may provide e-transfer payments, which must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. If a valid payment method is not provided, the session may be rescheduled or cancelled. RCC therapists are exempt from charging GST/HST. No additional taxes will be applied to session fees.  ​ ​

Insurance Policy 

Direct billing to insurance providers is not available at this time. Clients intending to seek reimbursement through their insurance plan are responsible for verifying coverage for services through their insurance provider. Feel free to use my information for further inquiries.

BCACC Registration

Cancellation Policy 

​If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice through phone, text message or email. Cancellations or rescheduling within less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

Counselling sessions are conducted in a confidential and private settings. All information shared, including personal stories and experiences, will be held in strict confidence. Clients should be aware, however, that there are legal and ethical limitations to confidentiality, including situations involving imminent risk of harm to self or others, or as required by law. Further details  on consent, confidentiality and privacy will be provided in your intake forms as you begin your sessions.
